Kathleen Thompson is an Associate with Roebothan McKay Marshall, called to the bar in 2026.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan, Kathleen enrolled at the University of New Brunswick where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2025. During her studies, she was the recipient of the Christy Shaw Scholarship for demonstrated interest in human rights at local, national, and international levels.
Her practice areas include Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Wills & Estates, Intellectual Property, and Corporate-Commercial, and she is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Kathleen’s personal interests include baking sourdough, cookies, and cakes, as well as running, reading thriller novels and literary fiction, and crochet. She is also involved with PLIAN (Public Legal Information Association of NL), working with individuals seeking to have their name change and gender marker change applications completed.
