Lawrence Synyard is an Associate with Roebothan McKay Marshall, called to the bar in 2026.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Memorial University, Lawrence enrolled at the University of New Brunswick where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2025. During his studies, he attended an exchange program at the University of Graz, and was the recipient of the Reginald H. Brown Q.C. Memorial Scholarship and the Tore Grude Memorial Scholarship.
His practice areas include Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, and Wills & Estates, and he is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Outside of practice, Lawrence is on the Board of Directors for the Parkinson Society Newfoundland and Labrador, and enjoys travelling, staying active, and watching sports.
